At first when you stand on this mud at the bottom of the salt pans, you can fell the natural heat coming through, even when the water is cold. You apply the mud and then wait until it dries, then go back in the water and clean it off. There is no charge to this, it is free to everyone, with purpose built wooden piers that take you into the salt pan.
