Shopping Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja

It is true that we don't all go on holiday to shop, but as out holiday rental is self catering, there will be bits and bobs you will want to buy to make your holiday more enjoyable. There are also more shopping opportunities for those who want to buy gifts or like walking through Spanish markets.

There are very few pictures within this site. Our objectives is to give a good choice of driving experiences available.

Supermarkets Right On Your Doorstep

There are no less than 4 large supermarkets all within 10 minutes walk and one less than 2 minutes across the road. Our local Mercandonna supermarket , is open from 9.15 to 9.15 Monday to Saturday and has just about everything you would need for food wine and essentials. (supermarkets do not sell cigarettes, papers or medicines). During the busy summer months, it also opens on a Sunday too.

A Carrefore is a 10 minute walk, with non food items and the Punta Prima Commercial center is only a few minutes walk from our holiday rental.

Markets

If you have a car you can visit a market every day of the week, in fact on some days you could go to more than one. But the local market which you can walk to from our holiday rental, is Playa Flamenca. It is quiet a size and is on every Saturday. The markets in the area do cater for tourists but are mainly for the locals both UK and Spanish who live out here. Many then relax at The Celtic bar, entertainment area at the foot of the market.

Shopping Center For Fashion And Gifts

Habaneras is a modern shopping mall offering fashion shops, diy, gifts, books and cafes, situated on the N332 on the outskirts of Torrevieja. it is only a 10 minute drive from our holiday rental

Local Punta Marina Commercial Area

Just at the bottom of our road there is the Punta Marina commercial center. Within here you will find a large electrical/electronics store, a large perfume shop, a hire shop and 2 supermarkets.
